Overview
PressLume is designed to collect as little information as possible. The app does not require an account and does not include advertising or analytics.
PressLume is developed by Ulba Studio, operated by 9533-9107 QUEBEC INC.
Keyboard and mouse input
PressLume needs the macOS Input Monitoring permission to show the keys and clicks you press on screen. This input is used only to draw keycaps while PressLume is turned on.
PressLume does not store, log, or send what you type. Keys typed in password fields are never shown. PressLume does not capture your pointer position.
Your settings
Your preferences, such as colors, size, and position, are stored locally on your Mac.
Purchases and licensing
Purchases and software licensing are handled by Polar. PressLume communicates with Polar to activate and validate your license and to manage the number of Macs it is activated on.
Payment information is handled by Polar and its payment providers rather than by Ulba Studio.
Updates
PressLume uses Sparkle to check for software updates from presslume.app. Normal network request information may be processed when an update check is performed.
Website
Presslume.app does not use advertising trackers, analytics pixels, or marketing cookies. The website is hosted through Cloudflare, which may process standard connection and security information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the site.

If you contact us by email, we use your email address and message only to respond to you.
Third-party services

- Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery, and security
These providers may process information outside Quebec or Canada as part of providing their services.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including requesting access or correction and withdrawing consent where applicable.
Because PressLume does not maintain an account or store what you type, very little personal information is involved in using the app.
