About these terms
These terms govern your use of PressLume, a macOS application developed by Ulba Studio, operated by 9533-9107 QUEBEC INC.
By using PressLume, you agree to these terms.
Free trial
PressLume includes a 7-day free trial that begins when the app is first launched. No payment information or account is required to start the trial.
After the trial ends, a valid license is required to continue using PressLume.
License
Purchasing PressLume gives you a license to use the software on up to 2 Macs. You do not acquire ownership of the software itself.
Your license key is intended for your own use and must not be shared, published, resold, or used to bypass licensing restrictions. To move your license to a different Mac, contact support.
Purchases
Purchases, payment processing, and license delivery are handled through Polar. Polar acts as the merchant of record for purchases made through its checkout.
The price and any applicable taxes are shown before you complete your purchase. PressLume is sold as a one-time purchase and does not require a subscription.
Refunds
Because PressLume includes a 7-day free trial before purchase, purchases are generally final. Refunds may be available for duplicate charges, unresolved licensing or material technical problems, exceptional circumstances, or where required by law. See our Refund Policy for details.
Using PressLume
PressLume relies on macOS, system permissions, and other technologies outside Ulba Studio’s control.
You are responsible for what appears on your screen while you present, share, or record. PressLume hides keys typed in password fields, but other private text you type may still appear. Turn PressLume off or use Special Keys Only before typing anything you don’t want others to see.
Updates and availability
PressLume may receive updates that fix bugs, improve the app, maintain compatibility, or change features. We may also discontinue features or support for older versions when reasonably necessary.
Intellectual property
PressLume, its design, branding, and original software are owned by 9533-9107 QUEBEC INC. or its licensors.
Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses, which are listed on the Licenses page.
Warranty and liability
PressLume is provided without a guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or configuration.
To the extent permitted by law, Ulba Studio is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses resulting from use of, or inability to use, PressLume.
Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights or legal protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
